This year we are working towards our first Active School Flag (ASF). 

The ASF is a Department of Education initiative supported by Healthy Ireland and part of the National Physical Activity Plan for Ireland.

An ASF aims to get more schools, more active, more often. Our school's aim is to promote physical activity in a FUN, positive and inclusive way.

 

The ASF is awarded to schools that can fulfil criteria across 4 areas;

 

1. Physical Education

2. Physical Activity

3. Partnerships

4. Active School Week 

 

​The children in our school came up with our own active slogan;                                 'Let's improve the way we move'
